CPrint-ai Privacy Policy

CPrint-ai ("the App") provides a product personalization and custom-print service ("the Service") to merchants who use Shopify to power their stores. The App lets a merchant's shoppers personalize products with their own photos, AI art styles, background removal, and custom text, and it generates print-ready files for fulfillment. This Privacy Policy describes how personal information is collected, used, and shared when you install or use the App in connection with your Shopify-supported store.

Personal Information the App Collects

When you install the App, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account:

• Store and account details (such as your store name, contact name, email address, and store configuration);
• Your products (so you can choose which products are customizable);
• Your orders and their line items (to render personalized designs and generate print-ready files for fulfillment).

Additionally, we collect the following information from you and/or your customers once the App is installed:

• Information about you and others who manage the App on behalf of your store, such as name, email address, and billing information (billing is processed through Shopify);
• Content your customers submit to personalize a product, including images they upload, the custom text they enter, and the personalized designs and previews generated from them;
• Basic technical information from visitors who use the personalization editor, such as IP address and browser details, and an anonymous identifier used to measure App usage and conversion.

We collect personal information directly from the relevant individual and through your Shopify account. "Log files" track actions on our systems and collect data such as IP address, browser type, and date/time stamps. The App uses only the minimal cookies and identifiers needed to operate the editor and measure usage.

How Do We Use Your Personal Information?

We use the personal information we collect to provide and operate the Service - including rendering personalized products, applying AI styling and background removal, generating print-ready files, and showing order previews. We also use it to communicate with you, provide support, bill for the Service, and maintain, secure, and improve the App.

We do not use personal information for behavioural or targeted advertising.

Sharing Your Personal Information

We share personal information with service providers (sub-processors) only as needed to provide the Service:

• Shopify - the platform your store runs on, which provides us access to the store data described above.
• AI image-processing providers - when a shopper uses AI restyling or background removal, the uploaded image is sent to specialist third-party image-processing providers to perform that operation and return the result. These providers process the image only to deliver the requested result.
• Hosting and infrastructure - the App and its image storage run on infrastructure operated by GreatDev.

We do not sell your personal information. We may also share personal information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant, or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Your Rights

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you and to ask that it be corrected, updated, or deleted. To exercise this right, contact us using the details below. We process your information to fulfill the contract we have with you (providing the Service) and to pursue the legitimate business interests described above. Please note that your information may be transferred outside of Europe, including to the United States, where some of our service providers operate.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service. Temporary working images created while a shopper personalizes a product are removed after processing. Design previews and print files associated with an order are retained so they remain available for your order records and fulfillment, unless and until you ask us to delete this information or a Shopify data-deletion request is received.

Changes

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
